The most aggravating thing is that the park closes at 2000. Food is all overpriced, as you would expect, and not very good. Our grands were old enough that they only enjoyed the basketball area and the big slides. The waterslides are a lot of fun if a bit crowded at times. We took two of our grandchildren (boy 12, girl 10) to GWLAtlanta (LaGrange, GA) because that was the ONLY thing he wanted for his birthday. Overall, a fun visit but only because our granddaughter loved it so much.… The bathtub floor was quite slippery! With a hotel geared to young children, one would expect the bathtubs to have safety strips. Our room was fine granddaughter loved the bunk beds! Hallways were dirty. The pool employees seemed especially unhappy. Many other employees weren't that pleasant. Housekeeping staff we encountered in the hallway was friendly. One very convenient feature is being able to use your wristband (adults) to enter the room (no separate key card) and to charge food and other items. We would have preferred it or, even better, pack items to eat in the room for breakfast. There's a Waffle House a short distance away. She loved the wave pool, but it got very crowded at times, with kids bumping into each other. Our granddaughter was tall enough, but I saw several others be told, after climbing up several flights of stairs, that their kids were not. However, there should have been clear directions at the bottom of the stairs about how tall one must be to ride. The water park was great fun for her, and the numerous slides were fun for me, too. She enjoyed the MagiQuest scavenger hunt, but it took a full day to try figuring out how it really worked. Paid in advance for the Wolf Pass and breakfast buffet. We took our soon-to-be 9 year old granddaughter for a 2 night adventure.
